Asif Rangoonwala, CBE, is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded Eurobuns Ltd, a leading bakery business, and sold it in 2008 after receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Rangoonwala chairs the Rangoonwala Foundation, which funds vocational training, healthcare centres, and libraries for marginalised communities worldwide. He holds key roles in several charitable organisations, including as Vice Chair of the British Asian Trust and Chairman of the World Memon Foundation. As a trustee of the Habib University Trust, Rangoonwala brings visionary leadership and fundraising expertise. His belief in “supplementing the efforts of others” fosters partnerships that enhance scholarships and facilities at Habib University, helping to shape future generations of leaders.
